Johnnies!!!! I mean what can you say it’s a staple in Oklahoma City cuisine as far as a cheeseburger goes!! The #9! Theta cheeseburger is legendary!! Not to mention the best onion rings I’ve ever put in my mouth!!! my mother was a cashier at the original Johnny’s in the early 70s when Johnny the Cook split off from the Split-T on Western and opened his own place. I have been dining at Johnny’s since I was a child and I am entering my 40s now. I can unequivocally without a doubt saying you will not be disappointed!!! Just try the theta or the Caesar burger both unique and delicious in their own way! Those onion rings are worth mentioning again! Get the large trust me you’ll want them-LIFE CHANGING! Enjoy!!!
My favorite hamburger place. Many reasons as to why. First of all the way they handle their business is perfect. The staff behind the counter is very good. And completely separate from the dining room. Dining room people have one job. Keeping tables clean and neat things stocked Etc. People in back and back to prepare food and get it out quickly. It's perfect combination of how to effectively run a business. Hamburgers, onion rings, french fries and everything is excellent. Every time I go enjoy it. So it must be good. LOL Still best in Moore for hamburgers, fries, onion rings.
Always have to stop at Johnnie’s when I’m in the OKC area. The Caesar burger is my absolute favorite.
There is no atmosphere but this restaurant is always exceptionally clean and for that reason I rated Atmosphere a four. The service is always fast, friendly and courteous. The burgers, fries and onion rings are always cooked perfectly. I know when I go it will be exactly the same as it was 32 years ago when I had my first burger.
This is a great burger joint found in many places around Oklahoma. They have a unique flavor with many burger, chicken, and hot dog combinations. They are known for their Johnny's sauce and all char broiled meats. Even if you're just in a mood for a filling salad, this is a great choice. The environment is simple, but clean and comfortable. Stop in and give this place a shot. Check out the large battered onion rings and the shredded American cheese topping.
This location is convenient to a large area of shopping centers. There is ample parking and the restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and was fresh, hot and delicious.
We had a great time eating dinner here during Singo night. Great vibes, family and friendly with attentive and kind service (shoutout to Renee!). Recommend the hot honey sauce, the theta burger, and the boozy cherry limeade.
Because me and my family moved from this area many years ago, I haven't entered a Johnnie's location since 2013. Let's just say it was an amazing experience. I really wish they opened one in the DFW area. Loved the Theta burger. It had a super unique taste. So glad we came back after more than a decade!
